Castletroy spins for Children’s Health Foundation!

If you happened to walk past Castletroy Town Centre one sunny Saturday and saw a sea of spinning legs and sweaty smiles, you weren’t dreaming, you were witnessing our Spin-a-thon in aid of the Children’s Health Foundation!

From 9am to nearly 6pm, the centre came alive with motivation and an incredible display of community spirit, not to mention some very tired calves. With Spin bikes generously donated by our friends at AS Fitness, local shoppers, staff and families jumped into the saddle to clock up kilometres for an incredible cause!

After a day of non-stop spinning and a bit of good-natured competition, it was fair to say a few of us forgot what standing felt like.There were selfies, there were snacks, there was many water bottles. But most of all, there was a strong sense of togetherness as our community pedalled toward a common goal; supporting children and families through the Children’s Health Foundation.

Whether you spun for five minutes or five hours, cheered from the sidelines or simply donated, we’re so grateful! Together we proved that when Castletroy gets moving, we move with heart.
