Updates in Castletroy Town Centre

We are excited to announce the changes coming to Castletroy Town Centre in 2026. We start the year with the expansion of McCabes Pharmacy where they are working on building treatment rooms. Here the trained staff will be able to facilitate vaccines and other non-invasive procedures. The expansion will also allow for a larger shop floor space, where they can provide a wider range of products, ranging from beauty, health and dental. McCabes will become the one stop shop for all your pharmaceutical needs.

An Post will also be experiencing some changes this coming year as building works have begun to allow the post office to move into the SuperValu store as done already across other SuperValu locations. Supervalu has begun to create space for these changes in the back of the store where the office will be located. We are expecting this to be finished at the end of March.

ESB EV Chargers will start construction work in the car park. They will be located towards the Kilmurry pedestrian walkway.

The staff in Castletroy Town Centre are delighted to share that with over the Christmas period we were able to raise 5 thousand euro for the Children’s Cancer Fund. We facilitated the Rotary Rememberance Tree in the centre with the Rotary Club. As well as that, we had a donation box alongside our free Santa Experience which helped with raising the funds. All money collected will go towards the Daisy Lodge out in County Mayo, which is the first Children’s Therapeutic Short Break Centre in the South of Ireland for children and their families. We look forward to working with them in the future and to continue our support towards such a necessary charity.
